To have your topic considered for presentation at the National Safe Schools Conference (NSSC), please keep the following in mind when completing the application.

Your presentation should demonstrate:

Relevance and Clarity

• Content is engaging, timely, and valuable to attendees.
• Learning objectives are clearly stated and describe how the session will benefit participants.

­Practical Application

• Provides take-away knowledge, tools, or strategies that participants can use in their day-to-day work.
• Demonstrates how ideas and methods can be adapted or replicated by others.
• Offers practical “how-to” skills that improve performance. Case studies are strongly encouraged.

­Leading-Edge Insight

• Addresses critical issues, emerging trends, and/or innovative technologies and methodologies.

Registration Costs

• The lead presenter of a workshop will receive complimentary conference registration.
• Any co-presenters will be responsible for the full conference registration fee.
